Badgley Mischka Announces Hand

NEW YORK -- Candie's, Inc., (NASDAQ: CAND) "the Company" announced today it has entered into two separate license agreements for the Company's BADGLEY MISCHKA brand. The first agreement, with Franchi Accessories is for women's handbags and the second agreement is for men's and women's sunglasses and optical frame products with Sama Eyewear. Badgley Mischka Handbags will debut during August 2005 market while Badgley Mischka Eyewear will launch during September 2005 market both for Spring 2006 deliveries.

Neil Cole, CEO, Candie's, Inc., stated, "These agreements mark the beginning of a much anticipated expansion of the Badgley Mischka brand into new categories that complement our core business. Interest in the brand has been overwhelming and we are carefully evaluating many opportunities for expansion and developing an exciting marketing plan for the brand."
